Luke Fraser

From a young age I’ve always been creating. It started with random doodles and then turned into painting and writing my own short stories. When I was 9 I picked up my family camcorder and discovered my passion for filmmaking.

At the time I wasn’t aware that messing around with a camera and shooting my friends was filmmaking. I was just doing it because I loved capturing our youth.

Growing up in Colorado fostered my love for skiing and the outdoors. I began documenting my friends skiing and wake boarding. Being an athlete myself, I have an instinctive interest in capturing movement and adventure of all kinds.

By age 14 I landed my first job to film an event. I kept shaping and practicing my passion and by age 17 my little film company was getting work regularly throughout the year. Before graduating high school I made up to 40 different projects as a one man film crew.

After high school I spent a year backpacking around the world. I visited 18 countries that year, immersed myself within many cultures and expanded my approach to living. After this adventure I began studying film at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I am currently in my first year.
