Gen Z Is Trying to Sleep Like Babies And They’re Spending A Lot of $$$ to Make It Happen
A good night’s sleep is no longer a secret. From liquid magnesium to the craze of weighted eye masks, social media is stacked with tips. What's more, 87% of Youthtellers aged 15-27 plan to take sleep more seriously in 2025. In addition to the addictive doom-scrolling until the Sandman arrives, young people are investing in sleep aids, weighted blankets, white noise machines, essential oils, and more to improve their quality of rest.
Speaking of weighted sleep masks, Nodpods appear to be the latest step in this growing trend. 92% of our Youthtellers don’t currently own one, but after learning about the product and its benefits 54% said they’d add it to their carts.
The more we asked, the more it became obvious that despite Gen Z loving their late nights with friends, sleep is just as important—a form of self-care. Brands have a golden opportunity to position their wellness and sleep-related products to help Gen Z check off that 2025 resolution before Q1 even ends.
